Honors Student Committee presents poet, Ishion Hutchinson, 9/18/2014, 7:00 pm

The Honors Student Committee and the Hannah Kuhn Poetry Foundation are hosting a presentation by poet Ishion Hutchinson, winner of the Pen/Joyce Osterweil Award and the Meringoff Sesquicentennial Assistant Professor of English at Cornell University.

His presentation on Thursday, September 18, at 7:00 PM at Broward College’s South Campus is free and open to the public.


NeMLA 2014: Workshops in Harrisburg–MOOCs, Welsh poetic devices, and more!


The NeMLA 2014 Convention will feature small group workshops offered on Thursday, April 3, and Sunday, April 6. The workshops will feature presenters who will work closely with workshop participants on a range of topics including online teaching, MOOCs, Welsh poetic devices, translation theory, and applying for grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
